Tyne Amateur Rowing Club sits on the River Tyne at Newburn, about 7 miles west of Newcastle city centre. We have the longest and arguably best stretch of river for rowing in the north of England. And we have a new clubhouse with excellent indoor facilities. See our Welcome page for more details.
Tide tables
Tide times at North Shields to the end of February 2026 are shown below (click on image for larger versions). They are in Greenwich Mean Time (i.e. local time in UK from now until 29 March 26) so no need to add an hour at the moment. But always add 20 minutes for Newburn.
