Robson Green with a large film crew from Shiver TV were at the club in July to film him for a forthcoming edition of Tales from Northumberland - to be screened, we thought, around Christmas (but actually 4 April 2016, as it turned out).
He chatted first to David Clasper about his ancestor Harry Clasper and then went out with a motley, sorry, handpicked, crew in an eight.
After an abortive first outing when the GoPro on his rigger got in the way, he had a good row, but admitted it was harder than it looked.
Whilst on the water he chatted to Ian Wagstaff in the seat behind about the club and rowing on the Tyne. A drone above and a camera in a launch captured the moment.
