The club runs or hosts the following rowing competitions (comp for short). More details of each will be available on the relevant sub-page (see navigation bar at left) as the event approaches. 

* Tyne Regatta - 24 June 2023 - a TARC comp - cancelled
* Captain's Regatta - internal TARC fun event - August 2023 - exact date TBC
* Tyne Single Scullers Head - an NUBC comp run from TARC - 9 September 2023
* Tyne LDS - an NRC comp co-hosted with TURC & NUBC - 7 October 2023
* Rutherford Head - 2 December 2023 - a TARC comp
* Tyne Head - 17 February 2024 - a TARC comp 
* BUCS 4s & 8s Head - co-hosted with TURC & NUBC for BUCS - 24/25 February 2024
* Ponteland Junior Head - 23 March 2024 - a TARC comp

We usually host two NRC Explore Rowing events during the year. Last year they were on:

* Great Tyne Row - on Saturday 26 August 2023
* Northern Region Sunday League - our 2023 series event at TARC was on 30 April

Regional and national calendars of rowing competitions

The Northern Rowing online website at www.nerowing.com/calendar.html keeps a calendar of forthcoming events in the region and further afield up to the end of March 2025. Social and other events at the club

The club organises social and other events from time to time, notably the Annual Dinner usually in October or November and the Winter Ball in late January or early February. In 2023 we are even having a May Ball (in May not surprisingly). The club Annual General Meeting is in October or November each year. In the run up to the meeting it will have its own web page.
