The club runs or hosts the following rowing competitions. More details of each will be available on the relevant sub-page (see navigation bar at left) as the event approaches.
* Tyne Single Scullers Head - an NUBC competition run from TARC - 14 September 2024
* Tyne LDS - an NRRC competition co-hosted with TURC & NUBC - 12 October 2024
* Rutherford Head - a TARC competition - 30 November 2024
* Tyne Head - a TARC competition - 8 February 2025
* BUCS 4s & 8s Head - co-hosted with TURC & NUBC for BUCS - 22/23 February 2025
* Ponteland Junior Head - a TARC competition - 22 March 2025
* Tyne Regatta - a TARC competition - 2 August 2025
* Captain's Regatta - internal TARC fun event - date usually in August, tbc
We usually host the start of the Great Tyne Row and an NRRC Sunday League event during the year:
* Great Tyne Row - was last on Saturday 26 August 2023 - not running in 2024
* Northern Region Sunday League - programme for 2024 is here and our round was on 2 June 24.

Regional and national calendars of rowing competitions
The Northern Rowing online website at www.nerowing.com/calendar.html keeps a calendar of forthcoming events in the region and further afield up to the end of 2025. The outline 'official' national calendar run by British Rowing is at www.britishrowing.org/competition-calendar with a more detailed version at www.britishrowing.org/rowing-activity-finder/calendar. And David Biddulph's very useful unofficial calendar site for 2024 is at biddulph.org.uk/2024cal.htm.
Social and other events at the club
The club organises social and other events from time to time, notably the Annual Dinner usually in October or November and the Winter Ball in late January or early February. The club Annual General Meeting is now in July each year.
