We usually host the start of the Great Tyne Row and an NRRC Sunday League event during the year:

* Great Tyne Row - was last on Saturday 26 August 2023 - not run in 2024 & 2025 - under consideration now is 23 August in 2026
   
* Northern Region Sunday League  - programme for 2026 will be here soon - our round TBC as part of that

Regional and national calendars of rowing competitions

The Northern Rowing online website at www.nerowing.com/calendar.html keeps a calendar of forthcoming events in the region and further afield up to the end of 2026. Social and other events at the club

The club organises social and other events from time to time, notably the Annual Dinner in October or November and the Winter Ball in late January or early February. The club Annual General Meeting is now in July each year.
